Set of bridge fixtures and destructible bridge members in two different strengths; designed to investigate structural failure without structures undergoing catastrophic collapse. Combine with a displacement sensor and load cell to measure tension and displacement during failure.
Features
The black metal plate of the fixture allows the breakable link to stretch and fail but keeps your bridge from falling down completely.
Reusable: a broken link can easily be replaced by sliding a new one onto the posts.
Breakable links come in a set of 100 in two different strengths.
